*So this coming Saturday the 16th November..in morning I will be launching two new children’s albums..at The Star Anise Cafe Storytelling 11am..and then at 8.30pm I will launch My album at The Prince Albert, Rodborough!…I will play a short set with some of the great musicians I got to record with and a few special guests!* The albums are £10 each and will be available from myself, shops in Stroud and around and markets*…a new children’s website is coming very soon at www.alandveryclose.com..there you will be able to find out more about the children’s music, new albums and purchase CDs*

Snow beautiful snow*..we are snowed in but its not a problem as it makes me stop and make plans!..my main planning is about bringing out this NEW EP?..Album?..EP..or..Album?..but watch this space as artwork and dates will be coming VERY soon!*
Also..last weekend we went to The London City, played at a good friends party*, and i bought a guitar!(my first guitar since i was 15 years old!)..then we came back in time for a gig with the brilliant and lovely Nick Buckle and The Ones at The Prince Albert in Stroud!..we really enjoyed it and hope to do more with Nick Buckle and The Ones this year.
FINALLY our next definite gig is..supporting Emily Barker and The Red Clay Halo at The Crown and Sceptre, Stroud on the 24th March 2013. We love Emily Barker..and always try to get to her gigs around here so its a pleasure to support her.. and The Red Clay Halo are amazing!! (two of them play on our coming NEW EP/Album*)…so far the only detail that i know is that it will be in a huge yurt in the back garden! more details coming soon*….
